About Yurii and Viacheslav

Yurii and Viacheslav are twin brothers. Medelian is their family name — the brand carries it because they're the ones who built it and the ones you see practising in every video.

They teach what's in this course themselves. There's no guest instructor, no borrowed credibility from someone else's name — the qigong forms and standing pillars you'll practise are demonstrated and taught by the same two people, on camera, throughout.

Yurii

Over 30 years of experience practicing Daoist and Chinese martial arts, including Tai Chi Chuan, Qigong, and traditional weapons, combined with Muay Thai. He is a lineage holder and true master.

Lead guide, interpreter, and the creator of our China expedition route.

Years of studying Chinese culture, language, and martial arts have allowed Yurii to build a unique itinerary that combines authentic locations, traditional practice, and seamless logistics. Throughout the journey, he serves as both your translator and your connection to the people, traditions, and places that make this expedition possible.

Viacheslav

Over 30 years of experience practicing Daoist and Chinese martial arts, including Tai Chi Chuan, Qigong, traditional Jian swordsmanship, and Chinese boxing, complemented by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is also proficient in the ancient Chinese strategy game Go, the Chinese tea ceremony, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is a lineage holder and true master.

Lead instructor of the expedition.

Throughout the journey, Viacheslav leads the daily practice, sharing not only techniques but also the principles behind the traditional arts. His teaching connects martial arts, movement, philosophy, and Chinese culture into one complete system, allowing participants to experience these traditions as a living practice rather than simply learning individual skills.

This course

The aim behind the course is simple: to make Daoist practice and Chinese martial arts legible to people living ordinary modern lives, without diluting what makes the practice work in the first place.

If you have a question about the course itself — what's inside, how to start, whether it's a fit — email wdpimedelian@gmail.com. We read these ourselves.
