Standing Pillars & Qigong course

A self-paced course built from the practice you've already seen — four qigong forms, thirteen standing pillars, taught by Yurii and Viacheslav themselves.

A self-paced course built from the practice you've already seen — not a beginner-friendly rewrite of it. No class, no gym, no travel. Just you, your body, and the same standing work, broken into lessons.

What's inside

Module 1 — Qigong (4 sequences)

Four qigong forms for different moments of your day: Opening the Three Gates Qigong to wake the body up, Silk-Reeling Qigong to move through the day, Qigong Open Heart to work with the chest and breath, Pin An Qigong to close the day down. By the end of this module, you can run any of the four from memory and pick the right one for how you feel.

Module 2 — Pillars (13 lessons)

Thirteen standing pillars, one lesson at a time — the structure behind the stance: where your weight goes, what stays relaxed, why this position and not just "hold still." Your body comes to this module already warmed up and attentive from Module 1. By the end, you can hold any of the thirteen without the video, and feel the difference between tension and structural support.

Module 3 — Wooden Pillar Work (14 lessons)

The final module takes the standing structure into motion — applied solo work against a trunk: turning, grabbing, elbow strikes, footwork, and short fighting combinations, with the power coming from the turn of the body. Thirteen lessons, from why we train against the tree to a full traditional technique to finish on.

Try it before you decide — it's free

A free first lesson: Dry Washing, a guided Dao Yin self-massage from head to foot. No equipment, no prior experience. Follow the complete practice and feel the method in your own body before you decide whether to continue.

Dry Washing: A Guided Dao Yin Practice
Begin with breath, warm the hands, and follow a complete self-massage sequence from the head down to the feet.

How the course works

Each lesson follows the same shape: why this practice matters for your body, a full demonstration, doing it together with the video in real time, what to pay attention to, and how much to repeat before moving on. You watch, you do it with us, then you practice on your own for a few days before the next lesson — that's how the form actually settles into the body, not just the memory.

No live sessions, no class schedule. You move at your own pace, at home.

How to Practise at Home
The useful question is not how much discipline you have. It is how small a practice you can repeat without losing its form.

For you if / not for you if

For you if:

  • You've been watching and want to try it with your own body, not just your eyes.
  • You're comfortable practicing alone, at home, without a class schedule.
  • You're new to tai chi or qigong — no prior experience required.
  • You want structure, not a random pile of YouTube videos.

Not for you if:

  • You need live, real-time feedback from a teacher in the room — that's the next step (partner training), not this course.
  • You're looking for a medical treatment or rehabilitation program — this is a practice course, not a substitute for medical care.
  • You want the full partner-work curriculum immediately — this is the step before it, not it.

Taught by Yurii and Viacheslav

Identical twins, on camera themselves — not a stand-in reading a script. Thirty years of practice between them, most of it spent exactly where you'd expect: standing in the same pillars this course teaches, running the same qigong forms, in the mornings before anyone was watching. What you've seen in the videos is what they still do when no one's filming. This course is that practice, explained.

FAQ

Do I need any equipment or prior experience?

No equipment, no experience required. The course is built for someone new to the practice.

Is this the same practice you show on Instagram, or a simplified version for beginners?

Same practice, same standard — broken into lessons instead of one continuous video.

How long until I notice a difference?

There's no fixed timeline we can promise you — bodies and starting points differ. What we can say: a few minutes, most days, matters more than one long session a week.

Will I get to train with Yurii and Viacheslav live?

Not in this course — this is self-paced video. Live, direct training is the next step in the path (see "what's next" below).

I have joint or back issues — can I still do this?

We recommend checking with a doctor before starting if you have an existing injury or condition. A full safety note is included before Module 2 (Pillars).

What's your refund policy?

Refunds are handled case by case — reach out to support. (Placeholder — full wording awaits the Refund Policy page.)

What happens after I finish the course?

The course ends with a clear look at what's next — partner training, if and when you want to go there. No pressure, no countdown.

Can I just try the free lesson without buying anything?

Yes — the first lesson (a guided Dao Yin self-massage from head to foot) is free, no commitment.

Dry Washing: A Guided Dao Yin Practice
Begin with breath, warm the hands, and follow a complete self-massage sequence from the head down to the feet.

Where this leads

This is where the standing work stops being a video course. What you've built here — the structure, the breath, the beginning of internal work in the stance — is also where partner training starts: real contact, real feedback, someone across from you instead of a screen. That's a different course, further down the road. No countdown, no pressure — just letting you know it's there when you're ready for it.
